  • Opened a new office in South Africa, expanding company operations
  • Secured government funding from the European Commission for a hardware development project (NGI Zero Core)
  • Recruited and onboarded local staff for the Johannesburg office, ensuring compliance with labor laws and meeting local talent expectations
  • Fund raising from angel investors for a new spin-off company, BlinkCar. This involved preparing pitch decks, financial planning, and organizing investor meetings.   • Design Network infrastructure for running the algo with extreme low-latency to the broker and the exchange
  • Design the proprietary futures trading algorithm in Python, with stable returns
  • Implemented the Kelly-Criterion formula, adjusted for leveraged instruments and futures contracts, for correct position sizing and reducing risk. Gained extensive expertise with the Interactive Brokers Gateway API
  • Assisted clients with converting trading strategies into Sierra Chart custom studies and indicators, using market profile, TPO (Time Price Opportunity charts), Volume Profiles and advanced custom study development, and backtesting development
  • Developed several Black Swan financial market meltdown scenarios by studying historical market events such as the NYSE four-month closure of 1914, the crashes of 1929, 1987, the 1971 “Nixon Shock,” 2008, and the 2010 Flash Crash among others
  • Designed ‘system death’ criteria, using mean-reversion among other metrics, a frequently overseen aspect of trading system development

As the founder of the company, I was responsible for starting, setting up and leading the international expansion towards 9 countries in Europe - with 14 branches – serving customers in 6 different languages. My primary focus was in the sales and marketing side and, I was also responsible for writing and production of the web-commercials. I enjoyed success in designing a “search engine marketing strategy”; reaching Top positions in all European countries. Further, I was responsible for designing the process management system that enabled our team to work highly efficient helping us to have a very profitable business, although having only a couple of staff members. In general, I dealt with all of the business related aspects; from development to expansion. RSE gave me the opportunity to learn about all aspects of a company; from the very beginning throughout all its stages and ending with the acquisition by Stellar.
